Jajah Direct: First Visible Sign of Jajah And Jangl Cooperation
Posted on November 19th, 2007 by The VoIP Weblog

What makes Jajah Direct cool is that you don't even need a computer to take advantage of Jajah's free or low-cost calling. Once you have a Jajah account and have funded it, you simply call one of the local access numbers, and dial the number you wish to call. At the end of the call, you'll receive an SMS with the new "local" telephone number for the person. In the future, you simply dial that new "local" phone number to reach that person in a far-away land and count the savings.
It's truly VoIP without using your computer. You do pay for an outgoing SMS from Jajah for this convenience. Jajah charges a nominal fee, which in my case was 9.2 cents USD. A small price to pay for cheap and easy calling, if you ask me.
